About the project

As Earth Day ‘21 approached, we were alarmed to see more excitement towards innovations building towards colonizing Mars than for helping preserve our own planet. Despite the clear disparities in quality of life between the two. Therefore, we acted to help make Earth the priority once again.

A tongue-in-cheek message from Earth on its day to the ones trying to ‘leave it’ behind. With a serious message for all: Prioritize saving Earth. To kick it off, on Earth Day we put a billboard declaring ‘Mars Sucks’ next to the epicenter of the colonize Mars movement, SpaceX in Los Angeles. And continued to troll the red planet on social, with witty comparisons between the two. Mars can wait. Earth can’t.
